Prof. Md. Nur Hossain Bhuiyan is a General & Endo Laparoscopic surgeon with special interest in colorectal surgery. Now he working as Professor, department of surgery in Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital, which is 2000 bedded tertiary level teaching hospital.

He is in the field of surgery for last 20 years started as a surgical resident to registrar up to Professor till date. He devoted in this field as a specialist for last 11 years in a tertiary hospital (CMCH) & Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital of Bangladesh till these years. He is involved in both traditional & innovative general & laparoscopic surgical procedure. He is also actively involved in conducting research and guiding the thesis and dissertation of post graduate students. Teaching of both undergraduate and post graduate students is also his field of interest. During in this period of time, he was trained in home & abroad several times & applied these techniques to improve his surgical skill. In future he would like to serve his country people by improving myself in home & abroad with updated knowledge, technology & methods.
