Prof. Dr. Shyamal Debnath completed his MBBS from Rangpur Medical College in 1987. He obtained his MS (Ortho) from Rehabilitation Institute and Hospital for the Disable (RIHD) in 1998. He completed his Fellowship training in Joint Replacement Surgery from India.
Prof. Dr. Shyamal Debnath joined as Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedic at the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) in 2009. In 2011 he was promoted to Associate Professor and in 2017 he was promoted to Professor of the Department of Orthopaedic at the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR).
He has about 10 publications in various journals.
