Dr. S. M. Shamsuzzaman completed graduation from Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital in 2012. He secured Honours mark in Physiology in his 1st Professional Examination.

He successfully completed MD (NEPHROLOGY) from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University in 2020.

Previously he worked as a Nephrologist in the Department of Nephrology, Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital from February 2022 to November 2024. Now he is working as a Nephrologist in the Department of Nephrology, Dhaka Medical College Hospital since November 2024 upto present
