Dr. A.B.M. Shafiullah Kabir is a highly experienced physician specializing in Internal Medicine with more than three decades of medical service, both in Bangladesh and abroad. After successfully passing the 9th BCS (Health) examination, he served in several government hospitals under the Ministry of Health, including Shaheed Suhrawardy Hospital and NICVD, as Assistant Registrar from 1993 to 1997.

From 1998 to 2018, he worked in the Riyadh Region, Saudi Arabia, where he gained extensive experience in general medicine and patient management across different hospitals. Returning to Bangladesh, he joined Impulse Hospital, Dhaka as Consultant (Internal Medicine) from 2018 to 2021, and later served at LabAid Hospital as Senior Consultant (Internal Medicine) from 2021 to 2023.

Since 2023, Dr. A.B.M. Shafiullah Kabir has been working as a Senior Consultant (Internal Medicine) at Samorita Hospital, Dhaka (Part-time), where he continues to provide compassionate and evidence-based medical care.

He played a vital role as a frontline physician during the COVID-19 pandemic, providing medical consultation and critical care to patients at Impulse and LabAid Hospitals. In recognition of his dedication and sincerity, he received appreciation awards from both institutions.

For his remarkable contributions to medical service and humanitarian work, Dr. A.B.M. Shafiullah Kabir was honored with the Nelson Mandela International Award 2024 by the International Human Rights Commission (Bangladesh Chapter).
