Dr. Sudhakar Sarker

Dr. Sudhakar Sarker Graduated from Mymensingh Medical College (MMC) in 2009.After completing Internship in MMC in December 2010 he came to Dhaka and Passed FCPS part 1 in July 2011.He got chance in MD-Cardiology in Dhaka Medical College in March 2012 session (non-residency). He has done post-graduation training in BSMMU, Dhaka Medical College. He worked as Resident Medical officer in Ibrahim Cardiac Hospital and Research Institute from August 2011 to December 2012.He worked as medical officer in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Care Medical college hospital from March 2013 to October 2017.He admitted in MD-Cardiology (Thesis) in July 2015 and passed MD-Cardiology in July 2017.

After completing MD-Cardiology Dr. Sarker joined in Bangladesh Specialized Hospital (BSH) as specialist Cardiologist in first November 2017, then he was promoted to Junior Consultant in August 2019. From 2019 he started adult Cardiac Intervention individually. Then he was promoted to Associate Consultant of Cardiology. He was in BSH from first November 2017 to 30^th June 2023. During this course of time he has done and assisted > 10000 CAG, >5000 PCI, >100 Primary PCI, > 50 CTO, > 200 PPM, > 100 PTMC, > 50 ASD device closure, > 10 pulmonary Valvuloplasty, > 10 PDA device closure, > 20 ICD and > 5 CRT implantation.

Dr. Sudhakar Sarker went to attend Transradial intervention Course (TRICO) in Apex Heart Institute, Ahmedabad, Gujrat, India in 2019 and 2021.He went to attend CHIP coronary intervention programme in Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, New Delhi, India in 2019 and 2023. He achieved Fellowship from Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions (FSCAI), Fellow of Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology (FAPSIC), Fellow of European Society of Cardiology (FESC). He is a member of American College of Cardiology (ACC), He is a life member of Bangladesh Cardiac Society (BCS), Bangladesh Society of Cardiovascular Intervention (BSCI) and Bangladesh Medical Association (BMA).

Dr. Sarker joined Green Life Medical College and Hospital as an Assistant Professor of Cardiology. He is actively performing almost all kinds of adult cardiac interventions, including coronary angiogram and angioplasty through the radial route. He is also actively involved in all academic activities assigned to him.

He has recently been promoted to Associate Professor of Cardiology.
